We do not knowingly or intentionally track, set 3rd party cookies, use or collect data about you, when you visit our website. Our webhosting service may store data about your visit, including your anonymised IP address, for up to thirty days and/or as may be required by law; error-logs will be deleted after seven days; and individual storage timelines are not possible. Access-logs contain the following data: IP address, date, time, visited pages, protocol, status-code, referer, and user agent.
All information contained on our website is for informative purposes only. Although all reasonable care is taken to ensure that all information is correct, Bjorn Afrika, its web-designers and creators as well as its Members, Directors and Staff cannot be held responsible for any erroneous information contained therein, which may include links to 3rd party websites and changes effected by 3rd party websites and/or providers. The onus is on the user of the website to verify that all information contained therein, is correct.
When you choose to communicate with us telephonically, electronically, by email, chat- or messenger- service and/or similar your name, telephone number and/or email address will be uploaded to the specific services’ servers and/or backed up to our cloud servers, which is/are a member of the ‘EU/US Privacy Shield’. E-mail logs on the server of our provider are anonymised after one day, will however only be deleted after four weeks, to ensure functionality.
We do not sell or have any intention to sell your data to anyone. We only use/share your specifically relevant data with 3rd party service providers after your consent, while rendering/which render the services requested by you and/or in order to improve your experience whilst rendering/executing any services and as may be required by law. Certain data we request from you, once you decide to utilise our services are statutory and we may be required by law to retain this information and furthermore may be unable to provide our services (subject to our Standard Terms & Conditions of Trade) without being in receipt of the requested information, before commencement of the service/s.
While requesting any service from us, your main-data may be temporarily stored in encrypted format on a cloud server within the European Union, during the proposal-, planning- and execution- stage. Our cloud service/s uses industry-standard encryption. Thereafter your main-data is transferred and stored ‘offline’ on an industry-standard encrypted device and kept for either future reference/services you may require or as may be required by law. This device is only accessible to certain members of our management.
We use industry-standard encryption for data transmissions to ensure that your data remains secure. We cannot however accept any responsibility whatsoever for the security in relation to any of your device/s, server/s as well as data transmitted (sent, received and/or stored) by you.

EU-Citizens have the right to access their personal information, to have it corrected as well as the right to recourse at any time, if they believe that their data protection rights have been breached. One of their rights under EU-law is that they must be informed when their personal data is collected, used or stored by any organisation.
